UCSFRA: Rosie the Riveter – Docent Storytelling
Join fellow UCSF retirees for a “Rosie the Riveter” meet-and-greet in Richmond, CA. Ask the experts – real “Rosies” who worked at the shipyards – about life and work on the United States home front during World War II. Our docents will share their stories in an informal setting at the visitor center.
Cost is $5. Lots of free parking!! We will meet in the lobby of the site.
For those who would like to have lunch at the on-site restaurant, Assembly, the restaurant offers a pass to shop at the Columbia Company employee store in the same complex. Assembly serves innovative American Cuisine.
